Kazuyuki Hoashi gave up one run over seven solid innings and helped his own cause with a run-scoring double as the Seibu Lions beat the Hanshin Tigers 6-1 in interleague play on Saturday.

Alex Cabrera opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first, and the Lions had five consecutive hits with two outs in the fourth, featuring Hoashi's double to left, to extend the lead to 6-0 against Yuya Ando (3-3) at Koshien Stadium.

Hoashi (3-2) gave up four hits while striking out seven and walking none to win his first decision since May 3. Hanshin has lost five of its last six games.
