Daisuke Matsuzaka struck out 14 batters and came alive offensively with a two-run home run Friday as the Seibu Lions rallied past the Hanshin Tigers for a 10-1 pounding in interleague action.

It was the curtain call to Matsuzaka's last start against Hanshin on May 26, in which he struck out 14 batters over the distance in a 3-0 victory.

Matsuzaka allowed four hits and one run in his fifth complete game of the season and helped his own cause by drilling a shot over the left-field wall on a 2-2 fastball from Darwin Cubillan for his career first home run.
