Japan playmaker Shunsuke Nakamura has hit out at teammate Hidetoshi Nakata's claims that the team's pre-World Cup camp has been a feel-good production.

Nakata, a veteran of two World Cups, complained earlier this week that the mood in the camp was "a bit too friendly" and questioned the attitude of some of the less experienced players in the squad ahead of Japan's opening Group F match against Australia.

But Nakamura, who was controversially left out of the 2002 World Cup squad, said Saturday, "Everyone has their own way of going about their preparations."
