Saburo Omura drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning and Shunsuke Watanabe pitched eight strong innings Sunday as the Lotte Marines rallied to beat the Chunichi Dragons 3-2 for their ninth consecutive victory.

Lotte overcame an early 2-0 deficit and scored all three runs on sacrifice flies, while Watanabe (3-3) held Chunichi to two runs and six hits before Masahide Kobayashi worked the ninth for his Pacific League-leading 16th save.

Chunichi went ahead in the first on RBI singles from Tyrone Woods and Alex Ochoa before sacrifice flies by Benny Agbayani in the fourth and Toshiaki Imae in the fifth tied the game at Chiba Marine Stadium.
