Seattle Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki went 2-for-3 with an RBI single to extend his hitting streak to 10 games in a 12-6 loss to the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday.
Ichiro singled to right, grounded out to second and singled to left-center to score Yuniesky Betancourt from second in the sixth inning before being replaced in the seventh at McAfee Coliseum.
Kenji Jojima was 1-for-3, flying out to center, grounded out to first and singled to left.
At Yankee Stadium, Texas Rangers closer Akinori Otsuka gave up a two-run game-winning homer to Jorge Posada with two outs in the bottom of the ninth in a 13-12 loss to the New York Yankees.
