Japanese right-hander Takashi Saito pitched two solid innings in relief in the Los Angeles Dodgers' 5-4 victory over the Colorado Rockies for his first career save Monday.

Saito allowed a solo homer to Matt Holliday with one out in the ninth, but retired the other six batters he faced in the eighth and ninth innings at Coors Field. He struck out one and retired five on flyouts.
At Yankee Stadium, Texas Rangers closer Akinori Otsuka threw a perfect ninth and picked up his fifth save of the season in a 4-2 win over the New York Yankees.
