Ichiro Suzuki went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBI singles and Kenji Jojima had a two-run single in going 1-for-2 as the Seattle Mariners beat the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 8-1 on Tuesday.

Jojima gave the Mariners a 2-0 lead in the second inning with a bases-loaded single to center and Ichiro's first hit of the night scored Jojima from second and pushed Seattle's lead back to two runs in the fourth after a Jonny Gomes sacrifice fly put the Devil Rays on the board in the third at Safeco Field.

Ichiro added two singles later in the game, including one that scored Jojima again in a four-run eighth. He also grounded out to first and flied out to center, finishing the day with a .288 average.
