Ichiro Suzuki extended his hitting streak to six games with a 2-for-5 performance and an RBI on Monday as the Seattle Mariners beat the Chicago White Sox 4-3 in 11 innings to snap their four-game losing skid.

Ichiro reached on an infield hit to second in the fifth and added a run-scoring single to left in the seventh to tie the score at 2-2 in a game decided by a two-out RBI single by Yuniesky Betancourt in the bottom of the 11th that stopped the White Sox's eight-game winning streak.

Ichiro grounded out three times in his other at-bats and saw his average rise to .261. Seattle rookie catcher Kenji Jojima was left out of the starting lineup for the second straight day and did not play.
