Yomiuri Giants veteran lefty Kimiyasu Kudo will miss his next scheduled start after having a blister burst on his pitching hand, team officials said Thursday.
A blister burst on his middle finger while pitching five innings in a win over the Hiroshima Carp on Wednesday at Tokyo Dome.
Second-year right-hander Takahiko Nomaguchi will fill Kudo's spot in the rotation, team sources said.
