Iguchi singled to left off Jeremy Bonderman and scored on a two-run homer by Jim Thome in the third inning before adding another single in the fifth at Comerica Park.

"I hope we'll have more timely hitting and play small baseball. By doing so, we were able to win last year," Iguchi said, referring to Monday's win, in which all five runs were scored on home runs.
