Daisuke Matsuzaka won his first start of the season and Takahiko "G.G." Sato homered for the second straight game Friday, helping the Seibu Lions beat the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters 7-1 to stretch their winning streak to six games.

Matsuzaka (1-1) allowed a run on two hits and a sacrifice fly by Michihiro Ogasawara in the first inning before settling down to hold the Fighters to six hits and two walks over seven innings, striking out five at Sapporo Dome.

Sato capped a three-run rally in the second with his third homer of the season after Hiroyuki Nakajima, who went 2-for-3 with two RBIs on the night, tied the game with a double to left off Nippon Ham starter Tomoya Yagi (1-1).
