Tomoaki Kanemoto homered and went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and Hirotaka Egusa pitched eight shutout innings Sunday as the Hanshin Tigers defeated the Yakult Swallows 9-1 in the Central League.

Kanemoto had RBI singles in the first and fifth innings to help Hanshin take a 3-0 lead before adding another single in the seventh and hitting his first homer of the season in the eighth with a solo shot to left off Masato Hanada at Jingu Stadium.
