Nippon Ham Fighters rookie left-hander Tomoya Yagi held the Chunichi Dragons scoreless over seven innings Sunday in his second straight strong preseason start.

Yagi allowed just three hits and a walk with four strikeouts at Sapporo Dome in his first start since throwing a two-hitter in five shutout innings against the Orix Buffaloes a week ago.
Kazuyoshi Tatsunami hit a two-run double with two outs in the top of the ninth, lifting Chunichi to a 2-1 win. Chunichi lefty Luis Martinez limited the Fighters to one run and five hits in seven innings while striking out six.
