The schedule for the two final domestic warmups at the Kirin Cup for the World cup finals in Germany is being rescheduled for the week of May 8-14, the Japan Football Association said Friday.
JFA officials also said a match between J. League first-division teams Gamba Osaka and Jubilo Iwata on May 10 will be postponed until July 12.
Top division teams can play matches until May 7 and national team players will be available for Zico's squad from May 8.
Soccer's world governing body FIFA has prohibited national teams from playing matches from May 15-22, which has been designated as a rest period for players.
Japan will play a friendly against host Germany on May 30.
