Messina is set to loan Japan striker Atsushi Yanagisawa out to his old club Kashima Antlers until the end of June, the chairman of the Italian League side said Monday.
"It looks as though we will send Yanagisawa back to Kashima on loan, and he will probably leave for Japan in the next few days," Pietro Franza said before holding talks with Kashima board director Mitsuru Suzuki.
Frustrated at a lack of action at Messina, Yanagisawa is keen to return to J. League club Kashima to get more playing time in the runup to the World Cup.
