The Nippon Ham Fighters have reached an agreement with infielder Fernando Seguignol to return for the upcoming season on a one-year deal worth an estimated 200 million yen, plus performance-based incentives, the Pacific League club said Thursday.
Seguignol, who hit 31 home runs with 86 RBIs last season, is scheduled to join his team for spring training in mid-February.
