Chunichi Dragons closer Hitoki Iwase re-signed with the Central League club on Friday for an estimated annual salary of 350 million yen, yen up 75 million yen from last year.
Iwase, who set a single-season Japanese baseball record with 46 saves last year, agreed on the new deal in the second round of talks, after Chunichi raised its offer by 5 million yen yen.
