Ai Miyazato hopes Japan's national symbol will bring her luck as she bids to retain the World Cup of Golf this month with playing partner Sakura Yokomine.
Miyazato and Yokomine, both 20 years old, will wear the national "hinomaru" emblem, a red disc representing the sun, on their chests and matching color shirts as they defend the title from a strong field including world No. 1 Annika Sorenstam.
"We will match the color of our clothes every day and go out with the hinomaru," the diminutive Miyazato said.
