The Toshiba Brave Thunders blew away the Mitsubishi Melco Dolphins 78-55 in the men's final Monday en route to winning their first crown in six years at the basketball national championships.
Toshiba, which won its second overall title, took a 41-27 lead by halftime, largely on sharp-shooting from Yuki Orihara, who had a game-high 20 points and Takahiro Setsumasa who added 11 with 13 rebounds at Yoyogi national gymnasium annex in Tokyo.
