Chunichi Dragons infielder Hirokazu Ibata re-signed with the Central League club Saturday for an estimated 200 million yen, up 60 million yen from last year.

The signing came in the second round of their contract talks.

Ibata, who posted career-highs of a .323 average, six homers, 63 RBIs and 22 stolen bases in 146 games in 2005, received a 20 million yen raise from the first offer.

"To be honest, I'm not satisfied with the amount," Ibata said.

The 30-year-old said he felt he deserved an additional 20 million yen or so for his performances.
