Ai Miyazato and Sakura Yokomine will represent Japan at the 2006 Women's World Cup of Golf to be held in South Africa in January, Japan LPGA officials said Monday.
The two young golfers, who were picked on the basis of the tour's final money rankings, join the star-studded field to assemble for the Jan. 20-22 event in Sun City and will defend the title for Japan.
In February this year, Miyazato teamed up with Rui Kitada to win the inaugural Women's World Cup in South Africa.
