J. League first-division club Kawasaki Frontale said Friday it has agreed on a contract extension with manager Takashi Sekizuka, who had received an offer from four-time league champion Kashima Antlers. Kawasaki and Sekizuka, a 45-year-old former Kashima assistant coach whose current contract expires at the end of January, will sign a new one-year deal after the end of the season.
