Ozeki Chiyotaikai pulled down yokozuna Asashoryu in the final to win the second-day tournament of sumo's exhibition tour of Las Vegas on Saturday.

After blasting first-day winner ozeki Tochiazuma out of the ring in the semifinals, Chiyotaikai handed the Mongolian grand champion his second loss in the final in as many days in front of 8,576 fans at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Asashoryu lost to Tochiazuma the previous day. Thirty-eight wrestlers in the top-tier makuuchi division took part in the competition. On Sunday, the last day of the tour, Tochiazuma, Chiyotaikai and the third-day winner will meet one another in a playoff to determine the overall champion.
