Meitoku Gijuku High School, which withdrew from the national high school baseball championship this summer after its baseball team members were found smoking and bullying, has been suspended from playing against other teams for six months.
The Kochi Prefecture school, which withdrew shortly before the summer tournament began on Aug. 6, will serve a six-month game suspension, retroactive to Aug. 3, until Feb. 2, 2006, the Japan Student Baseball Association said Wednesday.
