Japan was left looking for its first win of the East Asian Football Federation Women's Cup after a goalless draw against China on Wednesday.

The result left both teams with one point from two games, two behind leaders and hosts South Korea and North Korea, who meet in Jeonju on Thursday.

Asian champion North Korea edged Japan 1-0 while South Korea ran out 2-0 winners over China on the opening day of the four-team round-robin tournament.
