The Japan men's national team will take on Australia in the Kirin Cup later this month, the Japan Basketball Association has announced.
The games will be played at Kumamoto Prefectural Gymnasium on July 21 (starting at 6:30 p.m.), Nagasaki's Sea Hat Omura on the 23rd (1 p.m.), and Tokyo's National Yoyogi No. 2 Gymnasium on the 24th (3 p.m.).
The organizers are giving away pairs of tickets for the Tokyo meet to 10 Japan Times readers.
Applicants for the tickets must send a postcard, writing down his or her name, address, age, occupation and telephone number, to: Kirin Cup Basketball 2005 The Japan Times kakari, 3-3-4 Motoazabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo 106-0046.
The postcard must arrive no later than July 11. Winners will be mailed their tickets.
