Japan coach Zico insists his players have nothing to fear when the Asian champion takes on World Cup holder Brazil with a place in the semifinals of the Confederations Cup at stake in Cologne on Wednesday.

Japan has never beaten Brazil in six meetings and nothing less than victory will do in its first match against the South Americans under Zico, one of Brazil's star players during the late 1970s and 1980s.

Brazil and Japan, which stunned European champion Greece thanks to a late strike from super-sub Masashi Oguro on Sunday, both have three points each in Group B but a draw would be enough to put Brazil into the semis by virtue of a superior goal difference.

But Zico says his players will not be overawed by the occasion and insists the pressure is on his homeland to get a result.
