Kazuhiro Koyohara hit a pair of homers and Koji Uehara went eight solid innings Wednesday as the Yomiuri Giants downed the Hanshin Tigers 9-0.

Kiyohara gave the Giants a 2-0 lead in the first inning at Tokyo Dome with his sixth home run of the season. The veteran slugger then added a solo shot in the bottom of the eighth and needs just one more to reach 500 career homers.
