Isao Aoki and Masashi Ozaki will receive a special exemption to compete at the Japan Open this fall, the Japan Golf Association said Tuesday.
While the two veteran players will be allowed to take part in the Oct. 13-16 event at Hirono Golf Club in Hyogo, Mayumi Hirase has been given an exemption to the Japan Women's Open, which will open Sept. 29 at Totsuka Country Club in Kanagawa.
