Footy Japan and the Yokohama Country and Athletic Club will be jointly hosting a charity six-a-side soccer tournament on Monday, March 21, to raise money for UNICEF in its support of the Tsunami disaster.
Sixteen teams are set to do battle for the trophy, kicking off at 9 a.m. with an awards party starting at 4:30 p.m.
Corporate sponsors are donating money for each goal scored and Coca-Cola is providing free soft drinks for all.
Price of admission is free for spectators, however, there is a charge of 1,500 yen for those wishing to attend the awards ceremony which will include a finger-food buffet and free beer provided by Stella Artois.
