Fullcast Co., a Tokyo-based recruitment service company, has made a 600 million yen offer for the naming rights of Miyagi Stadium, which will be the home ground of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles professional baseball team, and wants to name it "Fullcast Stadium Miyagi," informed sources said Thursday.
Fullcast is the only bidder for the naming rights and the bid is expected to be approved by a Miyagi prefectural government panel, which meets Thursday.
Rakuten, an Internet mall operator, and Miyagi Prefecture in December agreed on sale of the naming rights on condition that the new name includes "Miyagi."
