The Montreal Expos, who are on the verge on moving their home to Washington, D.C., appear likely to retain the services of right-hander Tomokazu Ohka, baseball sources said Tuesday.

Ohka had a breakout season when he won 13 games in 2002 and posted double-digits with 10 victories in 2003. However, Ohka missed part of this past season after breaking his right wrist in June and finished 2004 with a 3-7 record and 3.40 ERA after returning to action in September. The District of Columbia has voted on legislation to finance a new ballpark, giving the green light to move the team to Washington as the renamed Nationals.
