Wallaby center Nathan Grey, a member of the Australian national squad at the 2003 rugby World Cup, is set to join the Kyushu Electric Power team, team officials said Monday.
Kyushu Electric Power and the hard-tackling 29-year-old have reached broad agreement on a deal that will bring him to the Japanese regional side next summer after the end of the Super 12 season in the southern hemisphere.
Kyushu Electric Power hopes Grey will help the team earn promotion to the nationwide Top League.
