Oita Trinita coach Han Berger will leave his post after this season but has been asked to remain with the J. League first-division side as an adviser, club officials said Tuesday.
The 54-year-old Berger, a former head coach of Dutch side FC Utrecht, signed a one-year contract with Oita in January, only to see the team finish bottom of the second-stage standings and 13th in the two-stage overall standings.
