Hanshin Tigers pitcher Keiichi Yabu, who has filed for free agency with an eye on moving to the major leagues, returned Monday from training in the United States.
The 36-year-old right-hander said he had a fulfilling trip.
Rumors have surfaced that Yabu has drawn interest from the Anaheim Angels among other ball clubs but it appears he has not made any direct contact yet.
