Japan's Brazilian-born coach Zico will be without the services of his usual interpreter for next month's World Cup qualifier at home against Singapore.
World soccer's governing body FIFA informed the Japan Football Association on Thursday that Kunihiro Suzuki has been given a one-match suspension after he was expelled during Japan's 1-0 win at Muscat, Oman last week.
Suzuki was ejected after verbally abusing match officials during the Asian qualifier.
