Japanese WBC super flyweight champion Katsushige Kawashima will face top-ranked American Jose Navarro in January in a world title doubleheader, which also involves a shot at the WBA flyweight title by Trash Nakanuma, organizers said Thursday.
Kawashima will appear in a designated match against undefeated southpaw Navarro, who has posted 21 wins in as many bouts with nine knockouts, in his second title defense while Nakanuma will take on Venezuelan champion Lorenzo Parra at Ariake Colosseum on Jan. 3.
