Japanese teenager Ai Fukuhara moved up two places to 19th in the women's world rankings released by the International Table Tennis Federation on Tuesday.
It is the highest ranking ever for the 15-year-old Fukuhara, who became the youngest woman ever to appear in the Olympic table tennis competition in Athens in August.
There was no change for top Japanese player Aya Umemura who stayed in 15th place, while Ai Fujinuma dropped three places from 29th from 32nd.
The top three remained unchanged with China's Zhang Yining first followed by compatriots Wang Nan and Niu Jianfeng.
