Naokatsu Hayashi hit a "sayonara" homer with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning as Oji Paper edged Honda Motor 6-5 for its first inter-city corporate baseball championship title on Monday.
After Oji Paper took a 5-4 lead through the seventh, Honda came back with a run in the eighth to force an extra inning in the final at Tokyo Dome, which attracted a crowd of 33,000.
It was the first time a team from Aichi Prefecture had won the annual tournament.
