Eiji Mizuguchi doubled in a run in an eight-hit, eight-run rally in the fifth inning as the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes produced a season-high 20 hits to defeat the Seibu Lions 17-11 for their third straight victory in the Pacific League at Seibu Dome on Saturday.

Mizuguchi connected for his third hit of the day in the key frame as Kintetsu sent 12 batters to the plate and delivered seven RBI hits, after building a 6-2 lead through the third.

Seibu batted around and came back with six runs in the eighth, but it was not enough to make up for the bullpen breakdown after Hsu Ming-chieh (4-2) was knocked out in 1 1/3 innings.
