Kenji Jojima homered twice and drove in three runs to contribute to a 17-hit attack as the front-running Daiei Hawks pounded the Kintetsu Buffaloes 8-2 on Friday.

Lefty Tsuyoshi Wada (7-1) limited the damage to two runs over the distance and pitched a four-hitter in his fifth complete-game victory as he dominated batters at Osaka Dome.

Jojima connected for homers No. 24 and 25, both leadoffs, off Kevin Beirne (4-4), who got rocked for six runs --one unearned -- in five-plus innings.
