Feyenoord midfielder Shinji Ono looks set to be picked for Japan's Olympic team as an over-age player for this summer's Athens Games, soccer sources said Thursday.
The 24-year-old Ono is thought to be among three over-age players that Japan Under-23 coach Masakuni Yamamoto has told national team coach Zico and Japan Football Association technical director Kozo Tashima he wants to take to Greece.
