LONDON (Kyodo) Fulham manager Chris Coleman has confirmed there is still a "big gap" between the valuation the English Premier League club places on midfielder Junichi Inamoto and the fee demanded by his parent club Gamba Osaka, England's Press Association reported Thursday.

The Japan international is finishing his second year on loan with the Cottagers, but could leave if Fulham and the J. League first division side Gamba do not reach an agreement.

"We were trying to do a permanent deal earlier in the season, but Gamba weren't budging on the price and neither were we," the P.A. quoted Coleman as saying.
