Defending spring champion Koryo High School of Hiroshima Prefecture will face Toho High School of Aichi Prefecture in its first game at the national high school baseball invitational tournament which kicks off March 23.
It will be the 20th time for Koryo, aiming to become only the third high school in history to win back-to-back spring championships, to compete in the spring event while Toho will be making its 26th overall appearance for the most among the 32 participating teams.
