Former Yomiuri Giants manager Shigeo Nagashima has started moving his upper body and is enjoying classical music while he recovers at a Tokyo hospital from a stroke he had last week, members of his family said on Wednesday.
Nagashima, who has been picked as manager of the Japan national team for this summer's Athens Olympics, started drinking water and eating yogurt at Tokyo Women's Medical University hospital on Tuesday and his condition has begun to stabilize.
