The Yokohama BayStars announced Monday the acquisition of right-hander Pete Walker, but did not disclose information on the details of the contract after they bought the rights to the 34-year-old from the Toronto Blue Jays.
Walker went 10-5 with a save in 37 games in his first full season in the major leagues in 2002 but was limited to two wins and two losses with an ERA of 4.88 in 23 games last season, when he suffered from a left knee strain.
