Teenager Sho Kitano scored twice as the under-strength Yokohama F. Marinos maintained their flawless record at the top of Group G in the Asian Champions League with a 4-0 whipping of Indonesian side Persik Kediri on Tuesday night.

Beaten 3-0 by South Korean group rival Seongnam Ilhwa in the opening game of the East Asian Champions Cup in Shanghai on Sunday, Yokohama took the lead at Mitsuzawa Stadium through Kitano after 12 minutes.

The 19-year-old then added a second eight minutes later before further goals from Masato Yamazaki (65) and Yuta Abe (71) wrapped up the win to push the J. League champion a step closer to qualifying for the knockout competition.

Yokohama tops the group with a maximum six points from two group-stage games.
