Yuzo Kurihara scored twice as an under-strength Yokohama F. Marinos got off to flying start in the Asian Champions League with a 3-0 win away to Binh Dinh of Vietnam in their Group G opener on Tuesday.

Missing eight first-team regulars on international duty, Yokohama took the lead after 14 minutes when Kurihara headed home a free-kick from the right from midfielder Yukihiko Sato.

The J. League champion doubled its advantage from another set piece six minutes later, after Kurihara powered home a corner. Norihisa Shimizu wrapped up the scoring with the third in the 73rd minute.
