Yokohama BayStars outfielder Takanori Suzuki will get a 40 million yen pay raise after re-signing with the Central League club on Monday for an annual salary of 220 million yen plus performance-related incentives.

Also, free agent right-hander Kenichi Wakatabe, who will enter his 13th year in pro baseball next season, re-signed with the BayStars for 100 million yen plus performance-related incentives as part of his three-year deal, though he only made four mound appearances and recorded no wins in 2003.
