Japan midfielder Shinji Ono plotted Vitesse Arnhem's downfall by claiming a hand in all three goals in Feyenoord's 3-0 victory in the Dutch first division on Saturday.

Feyenoord quickly stamped its authority on the game and was rewarded for its early pressure when Ono worked the ball to Patrick Paauwe, who sent in a cross for Robin van Persie to fire home the opener in the 22nd minute.
Ono was again the architect when his cross found Paauwe, who doubled Feyenoord's advantage with the second with a header shortly before the interval.
The 24-year-old Ono then completed a superb display as he fed Gil Swerts, whose shot was blocked but ricocheted into the path Dirk Kuijt, who made no mistake with a tap-in to seal the win 10 minutes from time.
"I didn't think I was doing too well out there and felt tired," said Ono, who rejoined his teammates after earning his 37th international cap in Japan's 0-0 draw against Cameroon in a midweek friendly in Oita.
"Still, I had an assist and we won so obviously I'm pleased about that," he added.
Feyenoord is fourth in the table on 24 points from 12 games, four behind leader Ajax, its next league opponents.
"The (Ajax) game is going to be crucial and I need to make sure I'm in tip-top shape for it," said Ono.
